THE DEEP HOUSE

Alexandre Bustillo & Julien Maury, directors of INSIDE and LEATHERFACE, invite us to a dive of horror. With their latest work, they take us to the bottom of a lake, including a haunted house.

The Urban Explorers Tina and Ben explore abandoned places and buildings. A special highlight: on the bottom of a lake in France there is supposedly a perfectly preserved villa. What the two divers first think is a unique find turns into a nightmare. Trapped and with dangerously dwindling oxygen reserves, Tina and Ben ask themselves the terrifying question: are we really alone in the house?

We are releasing the film world-exclusively on Ultra HD Blu-ray with claustrophobic Dolby Atmos sound in three limited editions. The film was shot with special underwater cameras at 25 frames/second, instead of the usual 24 frames/second used for cinema. Our release shows the film in its unaltered frame rate and speed (Playback devices must have this technical capability). In the almost 30-minute bonus material you can look behind the scenes under water. The 36-page German booklet details the production history and also includes an interview with the director duo.
